Hi! My name is Magdalena Pelc, an illustrator and mixed-media artist from Warsaw, Poland. My work is a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. I specialize in editorial illustrations and projects for individual clients. My journey with illustration began with a deep-rooted curiosity about everyday art. I am self-taught with over 5 years of practical experience. I honed my skills in traditional hand drawing and digital illustration. These fundamental elements form the backbone of my approach, allowing me to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also aligned with my clients’ goals.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with various clients and editorial offices. Each project has been a unique opportunity to immerse myself in diverse topics, from politics and economics to history and literature. My design philosophy revolves around a commitment to excellenceand experimenting with new techniques. Every project is approached with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on creating designs that meet client expectations. All of my illustrations are initially created on paper. I love working with traditional media, primarily pencil, ink, and paint.

Besides design, I am a professional archaeologist. I am inspired by prehistoric artifacts, ancient art, cultural experiences, and the landscapes I have seen during my archaeological research trips. These influences enrich my creative perspective and influence my design choices, bringing richness and diversity to my work.

I collaborate with Polish and European Archaeological Institutes, preparing drawing documentation of archaeological finds for them.
