I have a fadal 4020 and seem to be getting more wandering lately with drilled holes. Always seems to drift off in same direction so looks like machine could be the problem. I put an indicator on the head and set tip on the Z ways while drilling and sure enough im getting like 3-4 thou movement while peck drilling.

Re: Fadal 4020Fx ATC tool numbers problem. At the "ENTER NEXT COMMAND" prompt, type in "TC,1" and hit enter. This will open the tool changer. Make sure you type in the comma (but not the quotes). Once the changer is open, you can jog the turret clockwise and counter-clockwise to get the tool you want to be #1 under the Z-head.
